I made it back safely. I am praying for the kids tonight who are "ready" to commit their lives to Christ. I can't help feeling that I "abandoned" the kids today. I had to leave quickly or I was going to break down in tears with all the kids saying goodbye to me. Even though I am back in WC, my heart is with all of you. YES - I feel guilty but I know they are in great hands. PLEASE publish what happened at this evening's recommitment service.
Dear Parents: Unfortunately, I had to come back home early from Hume Lake. I really struggled with having to leave early knowing I would miss "hanging" with them 24/7. I absolutely love your kids. Each of them have a special place in my heart. They rock! Peace, Smit!
